Common questions.
We unite data, marketing and sales into one B2B growth system. That's The power of connection.
What does ongoing AI optimisation actually involve? Is it a one-time deployment?

It’s not a one-time deployment — and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you a setup, not a service. AI performance compounds when it’s continuously fed new data, tested against new creative variants, and adjusted as the model learns. We build the stack, stay in it, and keep optimising: new use cases as they emerge, model updates as the tools improve, performance analysis to ensure the AI is generating commercial outcomes, not just outputs. Monthly working sessions, live dashboards, and a roadmap that updates as the data changes.

Can you work with our existing marketing agency or in-house team?

Yes — and this is a common model. We often come in as the AI layer on top of an existing marketing setup: building the stack, deploying the tools, training the team, and staying in the system to optimise. We’re not precious about being the only agency in the room. If your current setup is working and AI is the missing piece, we build the missing piece.

We've been burned by tech vendors overselling AI. What makes PTP different?

We’re not selling you a platform. We don’t have a product that needs shifting. We’re a marketing agency that has built AI capability because it makes our clients’ results better — and we were doing that before AI became the thing every agency puts on their homepage. We’ll tell you what’s genuinely useful for your business and what isn’t. If there’s a use case where AI won’t outperform your current approach, we’ll say so. The goal is better commercial outcomes, not AI for its own sake.

How quickly can we get AI working in our marketing function?

Faster than most people expect, but slower than vendors tend to promise. The first quick wins — AI-assisted content production, automated reporting, campaign performance analysis — are typically deployable within four to six weeks. A full stack build, connected to your CRM and paid channels and properly governed, takes three to four months. We give you a clear roadmap at the scoping stage: what deploys first, what the expected impact is, and how the capability compounds over time.

Will AI replace our in-house marketing team?

No — and we’d push back on any agency that implies it will. AI doesn’t replace good marketing thinking. It gives good marketing thinking more horsepower. Our deployments are built to remove the manual overhead that eats your team’s time — the repetitive content production, the data analysis that takes half a day, the reporting that writes itself — so the humans can focus on the strategic and creative work that actually requires them. The teams we work with consistently tell us AI made them better at their jobs, not redundant.

How do you handle data security? We have GDPR obligations and a cautious legal team.

This is the right question to ask, and we’re glad when clients ask it early. Every PTP AI deployment is built with data governance at its foundation: no client data enters public models without explicit data processing agreements and protocol controls, all deployments are scoped against your GDPR and sector-specific compliance requirements, and we document the governance framework so your legal and IT teams can review and sign off. We’ve designed the process to get your cautious legal team to yes, not to work around them.

We've dabbled with ChatGPT internally. Is that not the same thing?

It’s a start — but it’s a long way from a deployed AI growth stack. Individual tool experimentation produces individual results: a faster email here, a quicker first draft there. What it doesn’t produce is compounding, system-level performance improvement. PTP’s approach connects AI to your actual marketing infrastructure — your campaigns, your CRM, your data, your customer journey — so the gains aren’t one-off, they’re ongoing. The difference between using a hammer and building a production line.

What size businesses do you typically work with?

UK B2B mid-market is our sweet spot — most of our clients sit between £20m and £100m turnover. Big enough that the tech stack has real complexity. Ambitious enough that fixing it makes a material commercial difference. If you’re in B2B and you’re growing, we’re worth a conversation.
